As a QA Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our 340B Management System, an enterprise-class solution that spans a wide array of pharmaceutical functionality and diverse technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a diverse QA test automation & manual tester team to deliver high-quality software that exceeds customer expectations
  • Develop the professional growth of direct reports
  • Manage software projects and release schedules
  • Grow the core values-based culture within the R&D organization
  • Attract and interview top talent within the local and national IT markets
  • Invest in the Atlanta IT community, giving back to the community and representing the McKesson brand
  • Drive excellence within the R&D organization by actively participating on cross-functional teams
  • Understand the Macro Helix domain and learn how customers use Macro Helix products to manage their business
  • Communicate complex topics to a diverse audience, including business leaders and customers
  • Champion continuous improvement and promote SQA best practices across teams
  • Handle all HR-related functions needed to support your team and the McKesson goals
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in software and/or program testing and demonstrated leadership skills and 2+ years of supervisory and/or management experience
  • Leadership – Guide and direct multiple QA professionals
  • Negotiation – Set delivery expectations/timelines with other leaders
  • Goal Setting – Understanding project deliverables and help team understand their role in delivery
  • Team Support – Attend project meetings and provide direction to team members
  • Grow team members – Allow team members to grow and expand capabilities
  • Experience testing large, complex, commercially available software solutions
  • Ability to utilize diverse SDLC methodologies, including Agile Scrum methodology a plus
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing test automation across all testing levels
  • Strong experience in a test management tool, like ALM or Qtest or something similar
  • Problem Solving – devise different approaches to solve issues and task team to do the same
  • Experience leading the development of test automation solutions within a quality assurance team

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$94,000 - $156,600
