Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems utilized in the production of mattresses and related products. This includes equipment such as sewing machines, foam fabrication tools, motors, pumps, conveyors, and fans.
- Optimize the performance and longevity of production equipment while ensuring product quality and aesthetics.
- Plan, assign, and execute tasks requiring in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, specifications, local and national codes, material properties, and electronic equipment operations.
- Directly supervise maintenance personnel, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safety, timely production, and project completion.
- Collaborate with the Plant Director and Department Supervisors to meet production objectives effectively.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with a solid understanding of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, HVAC, low- and high-pressure pumps, and PLCs.
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with computer maintenance management systems is essential.
- Certifications in arc flash, HAZWOPER, and forklift operation, or the ability to obtain them.
- Preferred certifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, boilers, or PLC Controls.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced production environment, which may require prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
