Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, including painting, carpentry, and minor electrical and plumbing work.
* Maintain the park\u2019s grounds, including mowing, weed eating, pruning, and snow removal.
* Perform janitorial duties to maintain buildings and adjacent areas, including restrooms and other facilities.
* Maintain and repair equipment, including mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers.
* Assist the Facility Maintenance Supervisor I in preventative maintenance and inspections across the park.
* Set up and tear down equipment for special events around the park.

* Incumbents in this job title may be exposed to extreme temperatures, requiring the following of safety procedures.
* Must follow safety procedures, such as utilization of eye and ear protection, when utilizing certain mechanical equipment.

Probationary Period:

* This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS.
