Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Maintenance Worker II to join our team at Fort Boonesborough State Park. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the park's facilities and grounds are well-maintained and safe for visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repairs of buildings, including painting, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Landscaping duties, including mowing, weed eating, pruning, planting flowers and shrubs, and snow removal.
  • Performing janitorial duties to maintain buildings and adjacent areas, including restrooms and other facilities.
  • Equipment maintenance on mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, and other motorized equipment.
  • Assisting the Facility Maintenance Supervisor I in preventative maintenance and inspections across the park.
  • Setting up and tearing down equipment for special events around the park.
