As a Production Operator III, you will play a critical role in monitoring and controlling the Sheeter line to ensure raw dough pieces are formed according to product specifications. Your responsibilities will include verifying dough conditions, setting and adjusting process line controls, maintaining flour dusters, organizing workstations, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and communicating with supervisors. You will also be responsible for performing additional assigned tasks and ensuring that product units meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the efficiency of the Sheeter line to ensure that dough mixes do not exceed capacity.
  • Verify floor batch time to ensure that dough is acceptable for forming units.
  • Verify texture and temperature of dough to ensure that product units will develop as expected.
  • Set and verify that process line control parameters are to specifications.
  • Continually monitor controls to ensure that product is to specifications.
  • Assure that flour dusters are maintained filled at all times.
  • Verify that targeted units per proofer plates are to target specifications.
  • Assure that the Sheeter Line and workstations are maintained organized and safe for working.
  • Assure that GMPs are adhered to by employees.
  • Continually communicate with Supervisor on dough conditions and quantity.
  • Continually weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least 6 months as an Ingredient operator or related experience.
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment.
  • Ability to lift and dump up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
