Job Title: Security Manager

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programs and systems that focus on individual and organizational security and communications to improve the security and safety of patients, visitors, and staff within our hospitals and licensed off-site locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and policies to ensure the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Manage the full scope of department functions, including strategic and technology planning, quality improvement, budget accountability, labor management, and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide oversight and compliance assurance for the Joint Commission Environment of Care Security Management program.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security program.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in risk safety, security, security/law enforcement, fire service, or military.
  • 1 year of experience working with local and state agencies.
  • 1 year of Life Safety Code Compliance experience.
