Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Security Developer to join our team. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will provide leadership and expertise in building high quality database security components, products and solutions that meet stringent enterprise software requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance for projects in multiple database security areas.
  • Define specifications for new projects, and lead the design, implementation according to the specifications.
  • Work close with supporting teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Facilitate high quality integrations with Oracle database products and Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of development experience with large-scale system software (e.g. database systems, application servers and frameworks, operating systems, virtual networking).
  • In-depth understanding and experience in system/product design towards strong security, performance and scalability, high availability and manageability.
  • Familiar with authentication, access control, applied cryptography, security protocols, common IT security practices.
  • Familiarity with application security and middleware security technologies.
  • Proficient in C/C++, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Python.
  • Familiarity with industry development in information security, database technologies, big data and cloud computing.
  • Deep commitment to product quality and passion for excellence.
  • Master's degree in computer science and engineering is preferred.
