IT Security Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering access to our enterprise-wide environment, monitoring user rights, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and consistent access to our agency systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer access to the enterprise-wide environment and monitor user rights to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and consistent access to agency systems and data.
- Support the development and improvement of policies, procedures, and documentation for IAM systems.
- Provide tier 3 escalation support to the service desk for the enterprise desktop environment and systems supporting that environment.
- Mainframe security administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a closely related field and four years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant IT experience.
- Identity Access Management experience in SaaS solutions, Mainframe environments, and Enterprise solutions.
- Experience with Active Directory and Exchange management.
- Information technology experience, such as analyzing, designing, installing hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment, or providing technical support in information technology.
- Extensive hands-on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining MS Windows desktop operating systems, MS Active Directory infrastructure, and systems management tools in an enterprise environment.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 licenses.
