About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Insomnia Cookies. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth execution of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of 2-5 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Lead new staff onboarding and initial training, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet our high standards.
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires, including Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers, in the absence of the Store Ops Manager.
  • Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards, including baking, uniform, and company policies.
  • Upsell and provide excellent customer service, ensuring all team members are also upselling and providing the best customer service.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs-Sun).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
