Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Toxicology Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacology and toxicology, with a proven track record of success in medical countermeasure development.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Award Activities:
- Provide subject matter expertise to support the development of solicitations and technical evaluation criteria.
- Develop initial statements of work and technical evaluation criteria to support the selection of medical countermeasures.
- Provide product development cost analyses and generate formal independent government cost estimates.
- Participate in technical evaluation panels and pre-award negotiations.
- Serve as an advisor to support the project officer and contract officer in the conduct of contract support.
- Support the scientific validity of proposed work and provide technical solutions as a representative for the project.
- Evaluate and comment on weekly technical conference content and progress.
- Review monthly and quarterly progress reports and provide recommendations for solutions to identified problems.
- Provide scientific and practical experience-based solutions to contract problems.
- Support project officers and contract officers with technical briefings and educational support.
- Provide scientific support as needed to senior management.
- Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of industry experience in pharmacology and toxicology.
- Skills: Strong background in pharmacology and toxicology, with a proven track record of success in medical countermeasure development.
- Professional Memberships: Active participation in professional societies is a plus.
