Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Insurance Sales Consultant to enhance our services at Hazen Insurance Agency LLC. In this position, you will play a crucial role in recognizing sales prospects, informing potential clients about various insurance options, and delivering outstanding customer support. Your primary objective will be to assist clients in making educated choices regarding their insurance requirements while meeting your sales objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Engagement:
  • Identify prospective clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation.
  • Engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and propose suitable coverage options.

Customer Support:
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships through continuous communication and assistance.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage policy modifications.

Policy Explanation:

Clarify various types of insurance policies and coverage alternatives to clients, aiding them in understanding the advantages and costs linked to each choice.


Needs Evaluation:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to ascertain clients' insurance needs and financial objectives.
  • Customize insurance solutions to align with individual client requirements.

Sales Goals:
  • Meet and surpass sales goals through effective prospecting, networking, and cross-selling of insurance products.

Industry Awareness:
  • Remain updated on market trends, products, and competitors.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of company offerings, services, and sales methodologies.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Record Keeping & Reporting:
  • Maintain precise records of client interactions, sales activities, and policies sold.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management review.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Demonstrated experience in insurance sales or a related sector is highly preferred. Background in customer service or sales is also advantageous.


Licensing:

Must possess a valid insurance license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing in the role.

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
