Reporting directly to the President, the Technical Sales Specialist will utilize their engineering knowledge and business insight to uncover new market opportunities, forge strategic alliances, and advocate for Brunson's innovative solutions. This role is vital in connecting technical teams with business development efforts, effectively conveying intricate technical concepts to a wide array of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet objectives within the designated territory.
- Identify prospective clients and comprehend their technical and commercial requirements through various approaches, including networking and outreach.
- Establish and monitor sales targets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide updates on sales performance and present results to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective market engagement and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Relay customer insights to product development teams and recommend enhancements.
- Engage with senior supply chain leaders, develop tailored solutions, and guide the proposal and sales process.
- Promote end-user and OEM adoption of Brunson products through demonstrations, training, and events.
- Offer pre-sales technical support and prepare quotes and proposals.
- Maintain timely, professional, and solution-focused communication with customers.
- Gain insight into customers' organizational structures and key decision-makers.
- Foster relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and satisfaction.
- Work with various teams to develop comprehensive solutions and proposals.
- Utilize CRM software to manage and track projects effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a sales engineering or business development capacity.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- High degree of autonomy and self-driven motivation.
- Capability to create and deliver technical presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong grasp of sales performance metrics.
- Strategic mindset and proficient problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft 365.
