Job Overview

Position: Product and Technical Sales Trainer

Ace Controls, Inc., a subsidiary of Stabilus, is a prominent player in the field of industrial damping technology, renowned for its expertise in gas springs and dampers. We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative individual to oversee product and knowledge training for various stakeholders within the Stabilus Industrial Business Unit, as well as external sales partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive product and market-specific training on technically advanced products and applications to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Designing and executing tailored training programs (digital, in-person, and blended) with thorough evaluation and documentation.
  • Developing training materials and documentation, continuously refining them based on product advancements and training needs.
  • Providing content support for digital learning resources, including web-based training, instructional videos, and animations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify training needs alongside the Head of Training.
  • Assessing training effectiveness through defined KPIs and generating reports.
  • Creating a strategic training roadmap for internal and external sales personnel, while managing the training schedule in our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conducting both on-site and virtual training sessions according to the established training strategy and schedule.
  • Coordinating with the Event Coordinator to organize engaging events alongside training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience as a trainer focused on technically sophisticated products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and markets in industrial automation, particularly in gripping and positioning systems, is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to conduct sales-oriented training for complex products.
  • Professional training certification is desirable.
  • Additional sales experience is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and an independent, structured work approach.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting.

Accountability:

  • Adherence to all ACE Controls procedures and technical guidelines, as well as compliance with customer requirements.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to communicate effectively, stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Occasional lifting of products and supplies, up to 30 pounds, may be necessary.
