Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for deploying laptops and desktops, installing and configuring software, and providing internal and field user support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy laptops and desktops by following documented procedures and company standards.
  • Install and configure software by following documented procedures and company standards.
  • Provide internal user support by reviewing helpdesk requests, prioritizing and escalating as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair software and hardware issues using troubleshooting procedures.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Provide regular updates and interim provisions to users.
  • Address technical issues using remote software and site visits as necessary.
  • Maintain networks and systems at remote locations.
  • Assist with technical training for field users on hardware and software.
  • Track laptops, desktops, hardware, and software using an asset tracking system.
  • Manage printer and copier supplies, including ordering and submitting meter readings.
  • Provide mobile phone support, including troubleshooting and deploying mobile devices.
  • Maintain the corporate intranet by updating news articles and uploading documents.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent certification and training.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hardware troubleshooting.
  • A+ certification preferred.
Working Conditions

The position requires work in an office environment.
