Licensed Practical Nurse

Vivo Healthcare Orange Park is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, and implementing nursing service programs and activities.
- Collaborate with the medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interruptions.
- Interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals on a regular basis.
- May be required to work beyond regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May be required to participate in emergency situations, such as evacuations.
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall success of the nursing service department.
