We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Insight Imaging (NC). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
- Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures
- Adjust scan parameters and maintain patient records
- Equipment Maintenance
- Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
- Maintain equipment in good working order
- Quality Control
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
- Department Support
- Assist with training new associates
- Perform and record daily and weekly departmental surveys
- NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state
- Current CPR certification
- Training and experience sufficient to perform PET/CT procedures independently
- Bilingual
- ARRT certification in CT
- NMTCB PET Specialty certification
