Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Insight Imaging (NC). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
    • Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
    • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures
    • Adjust scan parameters and maintain patient records
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
    • Maintain equipment in good working order
  • Quality Control
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
  • Department Support
    • Assist with training new associates
    • Perform and record daily and weekly departmental surveys
Requirements
  • NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training and experience sufficient to perform PET/CT procedures independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • NMTCB PET Specialty certification
