Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for each patient.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for PET/CT imaging procedures, positioning them correctly for optimal image quality.
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures, adjusting scan parameters as needed to ensure accurate results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
