Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Positron Emission TomographyComputed Tomography (PET/CT) procedures to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury.
  • Screen patients before procedures for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare and administer radio pharmaceuticals according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or State regulations and departmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Perform general maintenance on PET/CT scanner and/or mobile scanner and truck.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report problems to supervisor.
Requirements
  • NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual.
  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • NMTCB PET Specialty certification.
