Job Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in our dining area. Your role will include:
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Ensuring adherence to all daily operational protocols set by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Maintaining food and beverage safety and quality standards in accordance with hotel, Shaner, and Franchise guidelines.
  • Facilitating effective communication with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will take food and beverage orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and deliver food to guest tables in line with hotel standards, ensuring courteous and efficient service. You will also handle payment transactions and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area and its equipment.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role involving public interaction.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe certification and/or food safety training is required.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
