Position Summary:

As a Field Sales Representative, you will leverage extensive product expertise and exceptional negotiation abilities to foster enduring partnerships with both new and existing clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service and support.

This position entails identifying new strategic account prospects, maintaining timely communication with current and potential clients, and conducting regular visits to various customer locations.

Utilizing a solution-oriented sales approach, you will need to grasp Summit's competitive advantages while demonstrating strong analytical skills and quickly acquiring knowledge about our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of all product features, warranties, and services available to clients.
  • Engage with customer accounts to promote Summit's offerings.
  • Travel frequently to customer sites using either a company vehicle or reliable personal transportation.
  • Negotiate advantageous pricing terms with clients and suppliers.
  • Deliver prompt and precise quotes while addressing customer inquiries and requirements.
  • Exercise judgment to establish specific customer pricing, procure materials for customer orders, and uphold service excellence.
  • Collaborate with customer service representatives to proactively manage customer orders and address any challenges.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently to foster loyalty towards Summit.
  • Assist in the collection of outstanding payments from accounts when necessary.
