The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates is seeking highly qualified academic surgical pathologists to join our faculty in the Department of Pathology. Our growing medical center, with a state-of-the-art hospital and expanding Cancer Center, is located on a vibrant campus in the heart of the nation's capital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical service in surgical pathology subspecialties, including breast, GYN, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, renal, thoracic, lung pathology, and cytopathology.
- Teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Maintain an active research program as an independent investigator or in collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, and other clinicians and basic investigators.
- MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia.
- Fellowship training and/or experience in general surgical pathology and/or a subspecialty area of surgical pathology or cytopathology.
