Perioperative Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Technician to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital, a leading academic medical center in downtown Washington, D.C. As a member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and compassionate care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including equipment and supplies.
- Provide support to the surgical team during procedures, including positioning patients and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- High School diploma or equivalency required.
- Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
