Academic Surgical Pathologist

We are seeking highly qualified academic surgical pathologists to join our faculty in the Department of Pathology at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical service in surgical pathology subspecialties, including breast, GYN, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, renal, thoracic, lung pathology, and cytopathology.
- Teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Maintain an active research program as an independent investigator or in collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, and other clinicians and basic scientists.
- MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia.
- Fellowship training and/or experience in general surgical pathology and/or a subspecialty area of surgical pathology.
- Competitive salary range: $200,000 - $289,000.
- Health benefits provided through GW Medical Faculty Associates.
