Position Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is tasked with overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the organization's information technology services. This role is crucial for ensuring that the technical framework aligns with both immediate and long-term business goals. The individual will manage the organization's software systems, servers, and networks, ensuring seamless integration of enterprise systems and their components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with business objectives, ensuring transparent communication regarding developments and milestones.
  • Work alongside various departments to address security requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, programs, and schedules that support business and financial data processing, network communications, and management information services.
  • Assist team members in troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges.
  • Identify and propose technology solutions that enhance the organization's capabilities in fulfilling its statutory responsibilities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of annual IT audit reports.
  • Participate in budget planning to ensure effective management of IT services.
  • Engage with management on operations influenced by information handling processes.
  • Review and authorize significant contracts related to IT services and equipment.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in claims data entry.
  • Establish a robust IT infrastructure to support departmental needs.
  • Set and implement departmental goals and policies that reflect the organization's mission.
  • Oversee the development and modification of applications and software systems.
  • Ensure comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Monitor emerging technologies for potential integration into the organization.
  • Evaluate IT operations and recommend improvements.
  • Advise senior management on strategic IT system conversions and integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity across the organization.
  • Supervise departmental staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
  • Utilize various software tools including databases and office applications.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and change management.
  • Extensive understanding of IT systems and the ability to manage comprehensive IT operations.
  • Experience in implementing IT integrations within an organization.
  • A bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in the IT sector is essential.

Communication Skills:

This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including vendors and IT professionals. Clear articulation in both verbal and written formats is essential to maintain the organization's reputation.

Working Environment:

The position is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements for weekend or evening work. Some travel may be necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access necessary resources.
  • Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
