Key Responsibilities

  • Case Study Management: Develop and manage case studies to showcase the effectiveness of our Stormwater products.
  • Industry Influence: Utilize targeted speaking engagements to promote our products and services within the industry.
  • Technical Resource: Serve as a local technical resource for customers and internal stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Specification Development: Prepare and deliver high-quality specifications and sales leads to grow revenue.
  • Product Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our products to customers and prospective customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Confer with customers and engineers to assess product needs and determine system requirements.
  • Product Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and specification development for potential customers.
  • Product Recommendations: Recommend improved products or solutions to customers, highlighting how changes will lower lifecycle costs.
  • Project Management: Manage the project pipeline using CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Technical Expertise: Continuously improve technical expertise and knowledge of Oldcastle Stormwater products, competitive products, and civil infrastructure trends.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our Stormwater products, including catchment, conveyance, treatment, and storage solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain professional relationships with key accounts and internal stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Perform market research and stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Internal Collaboration: Build strong relationships and maintain communication with key internal sales partners within Oldcastle Infrastructure.
  • Trade Show Participation: Attend local Engineering Association functions and applicable trade shows to promote our products and services.
  • Product Innovation: Assist in identifying and researching new products, as needed, to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of technical sales experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Travel: 25-50% travel within the region.
