Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Reeves Construction Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport and dump loose materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal, and bituminous paving materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspection checklists on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Handle paperwork concerning Department of Transportation regulations, freight weigh bills, fuel tickets, and load tickets.
  • Carry out detailed instructions, take directions to job sites, and use good judgment in decision-making.
  • Operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Class B Commercial Drivers License (No endorsements are required).
  • Department of Transportation certification.
  • Valid D.O.T. physical examination with proof in the form of a wallet card and a letter-sized form, both signed by a medical examiner.
