Director of Construction Operations

Austin-based Engen Contracting, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Construction Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive project success
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
  • Lead the operations team in providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction operations or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
