Director of Construction Operations

Austin-based Engen Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Construction Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations of our projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement construction operations strategies to drive project success
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective project execution
  • Lead and manage the operations team to achieve project goals
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team to ensure a high level of execution, organization, cooperation, communication, accuracy, and managing the relationship and operational issues of all projects
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction operations management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
