Job Title: Senior Manager, Data Science

At Walmart, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Data Science to join our team. As a key member of our E2E eComm Capacity Planning team, you will play a critical role in setting Supply Chain strategy for Walmart.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design data-driven and strategic initiatives that optimize Walmart's omnichannel supply chain.
  • Own analytical projects and work cross-functionally across the organization to implement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive business value.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, and 5 years' experience in an analytics-related field.
  • Or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, and 3 years' experience in an analytics-related field.
  • Or 7 years' experience in an analytics or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data science, machine learning, optimization models, and PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Econometrics.
  • Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R.
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of accessibility best practices.
