Position Overview

The Hospitality Team Leader/Account Executive is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of insurance accounts with significant autonomy and decision-making authority. This role emphasizes delivering professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and business partners, while striving to meet or exceed account retention objectives. The position involves collaborating with Producers to enhance and sustain business relationships, aiming to be the primary point of contact for customer relations, account expansion, and generating new business in accordance with established practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide departmental services in alignment with Hub Broker Standards
  • Set service benchmarks and expectations for the hospitality team
  • Efficiently manage workloads among team members
  • Encourage cross-selling and account expansion
  • Provide technical guidance to team personnel
  • Work in conjunction with Claims and Risk Services teams as needed
  • Make independent judgments on insurance-related matters
  • Assume responsibility for account service functions
  • Collaborate closely with Producers on client service and renewals
  • Ensure precise documentation and internal processing for accounts
  • Evaluate insurance plans and offer appropriate recommendations to clients
  • Address complex service challenges between clients and carriers
  • Focus on overall account retention and new business development
  • Lead client meetings as necessary
  • Accurately document client interactions
  • Travel as required for business purposes
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Participate in industry-related training
  • Execute other assigned duties and projects

Experience Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in an insurance Account Management capacity
  • Experience with large, intricate accounts is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes

Educational and Licensing Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required
  • FL 2-20 P&C License
  • Professional designations such as CIC, AAI, ARM are advantageous
  • Current with all necessary Continuing Education credits
