Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor position at Grand Pacific Resorts is a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, training and developing associates, and driving revenue growth while adhering to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate front desk activities to ensure efficient and courteous guest service.
  • Train and develop associates to meet company standards and expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest room inventory, cash handling, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Perform GSA duties as necessary, including registration, check-out, and processing reservations.
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance to resolve discrepancies and ensure quality of rooms division.
  • Respond to and resolve guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, special promotions, and daily activities.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures, and remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a guest-facing front office capacity.
  • At least 6 months of supervisory/management experience, with rooms management experience preferred.
  • Customer-service focused, results-driven, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication skills, with guests, supervisors, and associates.
  • Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Capable of providing on-the-job training.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
Physical, Environmental & Other Requirements

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing this job, the associate must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be tolerant to various conditions of noise level. Requires frequent eye/hand coordination.
