Minimum of 2 years in a related field

Licenses/Certifications:

Kentucky State Radiation Operators License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT RT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 6 months of hire.

Physical Demands:

This role necessitates the capability to regularly lift, push, or pull items weighing over 50 lbs; occasional standing or walking with items up to 25 lbs; frequent repetitive motion tasks; and occasional extended periods at a computer workstation.

Work Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; on-call duties required, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute callback requirement.

Job Overview:

The Senior Radiology Technician will exhibit proficiency in Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities include assisting the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies, as well as recording and monitoring procedures while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas. Adequate call coverage will be provided as per departmental needs.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Familiarity with McKesson, EPIC, Qsight, Intellispace, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Cardiac Cath/EP is preferred, though any radiologic technology experience is acceptable.
