Licenses/Certifications:

Kentucky State Radiation Operators License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT RT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 6 months of hire.

Physical Demands:

This role necessitates the ability to frequently lift, push, or pull objects weighing over 50 lbs, occasionally stand or walk with items weighing up to 25 lbs, and regularly perform tasks that require repetitive motions. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm; call coverage is required, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute callback requirement.

Job Overview:

The Senior Radiology Technician will possess expertise in Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. This role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. The technician will also be responsible for recording and monitoring procedures, demonstrating proficiency in hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas. Adequate call coverage will be provided as per departmental needs.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in McKesson, EPIC, Qsight, Intellispace, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Cardiac Cath/EP is preferred, although any radiologic technology experience is acceptable.
