Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in a related field

Licenses/Certifications:

Must possess a Kentucky State Radiation Operators License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT RT) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), and Certified EKG Technician (CET) certifications are required within 6 months of hire.

Physical Demands:

This role necessitates the ability to frequently lift, push, or pull objects weighing over 50 lbs, and occasionally manage lighter weights. The position may involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and repetitive motions, as well as extended time at a computer workstation.

Work Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with required on-call coverage including weekends and holidays, and a 30-minute call back requirement.

Job Overview:

The Senior Radiology Technician will exhibit proficiency in Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities include assisting the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies, as well as recording and monitoring procedures. The technician must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas. Adequate call coverage is expected based on departmental needs.

Skills and Competencies:

Familiarity with McKesson, EPIC, Qsight, Intellispace, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not include supervisory duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Cardiac Cath/EP is preferred, although any radiologic technology experience is acceptable.
