CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in a travel position. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
- Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Administer contrast media and other medications as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Transport patients as needed and assist with other duties as assigned.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
