Position Overview
The Senior Radiologic Technologist will deliver diagnostic imaging services to assist healthcare providers in delivering timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities
1. Execute and assist in imaging procedures according to departmental protocols.
2. Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
3. Utilize appropriate procedures for patient and image identification, ensuring correct documentation for interpretation.
4. Order examinations that align with the procedures performed.
5. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient needs across all age groups, from infants to seniors.
6. Participate in on-call duties as required, adhering to established callback standards for General Radiology.
7. Contribute to quality assurance reviews to uphold professional standards for oneself and assist student technologists.

Physical Requirements
This role involves regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects weighing up to or exceeding 50 pounds, as well as standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The position may require working in confined spaces and extended periods at a computer workstation, performing repetitive tasks such as typing.

Qualifications
- Required Education: Associate's Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Kentucky Radiation Operator's License, Basic Life Support certification, and eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Compensation
The starting pay for this position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience. This role is also eligible for a recruitment bonus, with further details provided during the hiring process.
