Athletic Training Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at the Houston Independent School District. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide injury prevention techniques and medical treatment to student-athletes
- Develop and implement physical rehabilitation programs to aid in the recovery of injured athletes
- Administer non-emergency and emergency care to student-athletes
- Collaborate with coaches, teachers, and other school staff to ensure a safe and healthy athletic environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in athletic training
Requirements:
- LAT certification (Licensed Athletic Trainer)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency care procedures
