Job Summary

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevention and Treatment: Develop and implement prevention and treatment plans for athletes and patients with sports-related injuries, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure effective care.
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential injuries and develop treatment plans to prevent further injury.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and treatment.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare providers on injury prevention and treatment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Experience: None required, but experience in athletic training or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: AT - Certified Athletic Trainer - State Licensure or AT-Temp - Certified Athletic Trainer - Temporary State Licensure, and BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
