Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Virginia.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a public health or community health setting.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • Knowledge of clinical medicine and pharmacology.
