Job Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Access Control / Mobile Patrol Security Specialist.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.

Available Positions: Part-time, Monday through Friday.

Shifts: Evening hours from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Uniforms provided, along with industry-leading training at no cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain vigilance and monitor for signs of criminal activity, disturbances, hazards, and unusual occurrences.
  • Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to identify unsafe conditions, security breaches, mechanical issues, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Utilize verbal and physical de-escalation techniques as necessary.
  • Inspect all security systems and fire safety equipment regularly.
  • Facilitate the screening of members, visitors, and staff to ensure efficient access to the facility.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies including fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, flooding, elevator malfunctions, hazardous materials, or severe weather with a calm and urgent demeanor.
  • May involve escorting patients, monitoring individuals, providing safety escorts, and assisting with the transport of deceased individuals to the morgue.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, conflict resolution, or managing high-pressure situations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed positions; 21 years or older for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Applicants will undergo a background check in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Drug screening may be required as a condition of employment.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment. A valid driver's license is necessary for driving roles.
  • Post-offer, candidates must successfully complete training and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification.
