Our global operations network ensures the delivery of millions of packages and smiles to customers every day. We are seeking driven, customer-oriented individuals to join our team as an Operations Area Supervisor.

In this position, you will oversee a team of hourly employees and will be accountable for engaging your team throughout their shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

You will also be instrumental in meeting our customer expectations to guarantee that orders are delivered punctually and accurately.

Our operational workflow consists of three primary components: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your area; and Last mile - when products reach the customer's doorstep.

While our workflows may vary slightly in structure, one aspect remains constant: our commitment to customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly workforce.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures.
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applicable to sites with stairs).

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of experience with Amazon (blue badge/FTE).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
