Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our team at HCA HealthONE Swedish. As a Sterile Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations and workflow of the department, ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Sterile Processing department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of sterilized instruments and equipment, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including the Operating Room and Nursing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide training and education to staff members on proper sterilization techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Central Sterile certification (ISCHSMM or CBSPD) or obtain within one (1) year of being hired.
  • Vocational/Technical or associate's degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of Sterile Processing/Central Sterile Technician/OR Technologist work experience.
  • Competency in orthopedics, cardiovascular, neuro, GYN preferred.
  • One (1) year minimum of supervisory/lead tech experience.
