We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. This key role will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned.

The successful candidate will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining creative store layouts and product merchandising, working with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess advanced product knowledge, excellent interpersonal, motivational, team-building, and customer relationship skills. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership, a desire to coach and mentor others for growth, and proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

The estimated salary for this position is $20.05 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, eligibility for a store discount, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Team Leader in daily operations
  • Lead and develop Team Members
  • Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising
  • Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets
  • Analyze sales, reports, and labor data
  • Maintain good vendor relationships
  • Resolve team concerns or issues
  • Serve as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Team Leader
  • Set and achieve highest standards of retail execution
