Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead our thrift store operations at Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona. The successful candidate will drive business growth, develop teams, and deliver exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. As a Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving retail business operations at a Retail Store location for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. You will lead Assistant Store Managers, Production Teams, and Donation Attendants to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with district managers to develop strategic plans to boost donations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, payroll costs, and operating expenses.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, well-kept store environment that reflects the Goodwill brand.
  • Promote the Goodwill mission through community partnerships and events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience in retail management, preferably in a thrift store setting.
  • One year's experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
