Job Summary:

The Patient Care Technician Float Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture patient vital signs and medical history information
Assist with patient rooming and coordination of patient flow
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate a smooth continuum of care

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health records
Basic Life Support certification and other advanced training as required

Working Conditions:

The Patient Care Technician Float Specialist will work in a clinical environment, regularly exposed to blood, body tissues, or fluids. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent physical and mental abilities.
