Position Overview:
The Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, medication management, comfort measures, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily personal care needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registered in the state.
- A minimum of three years of CNA experience, preferably in hospice care.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort in providing care to terminally ill patients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check in accordance with company policy.
