Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality standards and requirements for product manufacturing and inspection.
  • Develop and apply methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal process owners to resolve quality issues and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Establish and monitor supplier quality requirements and performance.
  • Support New Product Project teams to ensure smooth transition of new products into the regular manufacturing process.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Work with suppliers, customers, and internal process owners to resolve quality problems and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for first article inspections as part of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6-10 years of experience providing Quality Assurance support to a department.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • 10+ years of experience with the ISO 9001 auditing process, Advanced Product Quality Planning (AQPQ), developing process control plans, and Failure Models and Effects Analyst (FMEA).
  • Six sigma training, preferred.
