Job Overview

Position: Administrative Assistant
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Role Summary:

This role is essential for managing front office operations, welcoming visitors, and supporting the sales team with various tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct all incoming phone calls to the company
  • Assist delivery personnel with directions to the facility
  • Organize, scan, and file invoices
  • Maintain the order of sales and shipping documentation
  • Generate shipping labels and create Bills of Lading (BOL)
  • Verify and sign off on shipping orders
  • Support the sales team with order processing
  • Welcome visitors and vendors at the front office
  • Assist in coordinating on-site interviews

Qualifications:
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Open to learning and adapting to company processes
  • Ability to follow supervisor instructions
  • Experience in the transportation sector is preferred
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • Capability to see and react to hazardous situations
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment properly
  • Ability to lift over 25 pounds when necessary
