Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at AMC Theatres. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our guests in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain open communication with other cooks to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
  • Adhere to established recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens, according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment by upholding high standards of cleanliness and adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Support the daily completion of food safety checklists and participate in maintaining food safety compliance.
  • Work effectively with others to achieve team goals and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Uphold AMC's Business Practice Standards and ensure compliance with company policies and programs.
  • Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Requirements
  • Age 16 or older (other location-specific age requirements may apply).
  • Ability to obtain any required food or alcohol service licenses or certifications, including T.I.P.S. certification.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. measurements, weight, and volume.
