Job Title: Line Cook

Job Summary:

Maderas Golf Club is a prestigious golf club nestled in the rolling hills of Poway, California. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, pristine course conditions, and unforgettable dining experiences. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of food products according to menus and production plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless food service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Participate in menu planning and development to ensure innovative and appealing dishes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or related fields.
  • Current San Diego Food Handlers Card.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation Training required.
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
  • Frequent or occasional need to perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
